Fluvial Eco-Hydraulics and Morphodynamics: new insights and challenges

The aim was to define the state-of-the-art in the riverine sector and to compare techniques, methodologies and study approaches across various environmental and analytical conditions. The topics addressed covered river hydrodynamics, effects on erosion and watercourse stability, evolving morphodynamic phenomena, and the application of both exploitation techniques and nature-based intervention methods.
Results from the discussions were published in Fluvial Eco-Hydraulics and Morphodynamics, vol. 81 — Advances in Water Resources (2015).
